Liberty Hall Bed & Breakfast is seeking a warm, dependable, and service-oriented Live-In Innkeeper (or couple) to help manage daily operations and create exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in a well-run home, and values meaningful interactions with guests.
Position Overview
The Live-In Innkeeper serves as the welcoming face of Liberty Hall, overseeing guest services, daily operations, and light property management. The position includes on-site accommodations and is well suited for an individual or couple with hospitality experience and a passion for creating a comfortable, gracious environment.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Services & Hospitality
• Greet guests warmly and manage check-ins and check-outs
• Provide orientation to the property, amenities, and local attractions
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs and requests
• Ensure a consistently welcoming and comfortable guest experience
Breakfast Preparation & Service
• Prepare and serve daily breakfast for up 2-3 guest rooms
• Accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences when possible
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
• Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs
Housekeeping & Room Readiness
• Clean guest rooms and common areas between stays
• Launder, replace, and organize linens and towels
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and overall readiness
• Coordinate or report maintenance needs as they arise
Evening & Property Oversight
• Ensure the property is secure each evening
• Lock doors, turn off lights, and confirm common areas are in order
• Serve as on-site point of contact for guest needs or emergencies
• Maintain a calm, professional presence on the property

Qualifications
• Previous experience in hospitality, lodging, or customer service preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
• Comfortable with light cooking, cleaning, and guest interaction
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and discreet
• Able to live on-site and maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
